Texas Lutheran University earned high honors in Intercollegiate Academics at the National Convention of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society for Colleges and Universities in San Diego, California, March 31-April 2.
Curtis Lee, senior physics major, won the top honor in the engineering section of the convention program, with his paper and presentation, Simulating Rigid Body Motion in Incompressible Two-phase Flow for Applications in Energy Harvesting. In addition, Lee took the Physics prize with his paper, The Finite Element Method and Applications; he was also awarded the Robert W. Sledge Fellowship Award of $3,500.
