Uncertainty is the name of the game for the financial situation of Texas education. Particularly in the realm of colleges and universities, proposed budget cuts can cause a significant shift in the funding of schools. Knowing this, TLU has begun to take calculated steps with regards to handling the impending cuts. Most notably among these steps is slightly raising tuition beginning Fall 2011.
On Monday April 4, the president's cabinet held a Student Town Hall meeting where students were allowed to ask questions and raise concerns with the cabinet. The following are the high lights of the meeting.
Citizens of the world, including stu dents of TLU, struggle with everyday issues such as, the acceptance of homo sexuality, autism, bullying, being over whelmed with college responsibilities and life in general. These are the issues addressed in the "Grace Like Rain"pro duction that will take place April 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. and April 17 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of the Abiding Presence.
